Why Do Compasses Not Work Properly in Pohorje? This thematic hiking trail, which takes visitors from Lodge Ribniška Koča (1507 m) to Velika Kopa (1542 m), answers that question.

The gently sloping scenic path leads through forests, meadows, and glades. Along the way, you will see wooden benches and books that hold the educational secrets of Pohorje. 

In the distance, you will soon catch a glimpse of the roofs of the Pungart tourist settlement. Then you will reach the plateau with Grmovšek Lodge (1371 m), where you can refresh yourself and grab a bite to eat before continuing to the summit of Velika Kopa (1542 m).
