This hiking trail will take you along the Pohorje ridge from Ribnica hut to Lovren Lakes. Along the way, you will be able to observe the beautiful and unspoilt nature of Pohorje all around you. You can pick blueberries and, with a bit of luck, meet a deer or maybe even a wild rooster.
The hike takes just under two hours each way, so bring plenty of water, a snack and a windbreaker. The trail is well signposted and suitable for all ages, and offers an experience for the whole family. For children under 5 years of age, we recommend a backpack. The Lovren Lakes, with their unique ecosystem, resemble Lake Ribnica, but are made up of several smaller lakes where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. They are definitely worth a visit and are a great choice for a day trip suitable for the whole family.
